Pa 4-H Awareness Week Recap

WOW! During this year's Pennsylvania 4-H Awareness Week, I noticed many 4-H clubs took advantage of the window dispay contest and brightened up the windows of many local businesses throughout Clearfield County. Don't forget to get recognition for all your hard work by submitting photos, as well as brief write-up detailing where your display was located and your display's theme. Photos and write-ups are due to the Extension Office by April 30!

This year's kick-off roller skating party on Tuesday, March 17 was a blast and had over 100 people in attendance. We also took part in community service efforts and collected three large boxes of non-perishable food items, which were donated to our local food bank.

The week came to a close with the Clearfield County 4-H Teen Council hosting an All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast at the Dutch Pantry Restaurant of DuBois on Saturday, March 21. The council made close to $350 in tips and orders. A big THANK YOU goes out to everyone that supported this breakfast, as well as all the teens that donated their time as servers!
