2009 Penn State Youth Dairy Cow Camp

Interested in learning about dairy cattle??? The Penn State Youth Dairy Cow Camp is an exciting opportunity for youth 13-18 years old to experience modern dairy production practices. This year's camp will take place Friday, May 29 – Sunday, May 31, 2009 at Penn State University. You can participate in hands-on activities and learn about all the different phases of cattle management. This is an opportunity for youth ages 13 to 18, as of January 1st!

Instruction at the Camp is provided by faculty and staff of the Department of Dairy and Animal Science and the Department of Veterinary and Biological Sciences at Penn State University. Each youth camper's fees cover meals, chaperoned lodging in university residence halls, and all program materials. In addition, you may bring spending money for souvenirs and other items.
