The Clearfield County Conservation District, Clearfield FFA Chapter, & Penn State Cooperative Extension of Clearfield County are hosting an EQUINE EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Agriculture Building of the Clearfield County Fairgrounds - Clearfield, PAThis FREE educational program is open to all interested horse owners and horse enthusiasts! Topics will include the economics of feeding horses, creating a feed program, horse hoof care, equine health issues, and laws and regulations that affect horse operations. Refreshments will be available, as well as great door prizes for participants!!!
Presenters will include:
- Dr. Scott McAllister of Centre Equine Practice
- Dave Billotte, Local Blacksmith
- Natalie Cabot of Blue Seal Feeds
