Penn State 4-H Achievement Days - August 5-7, 2008

This year’s Penn State 4-H Achievement Days will take place on Tuesday, August 5 through Thursday, August 7, 2008. A complete list of all the events and contests offered this year are listed below. A complete set of rules for each competition is also available at the Extension Office; please call Jana at (814) 765-7878 Ext. 3 for a copy of the rules for a contest that interests you or go the Pennsylvania 4-H website (http://pa4h.cas.psu.edu/ ) and click on Activities then 4-H State Achievement Days to find out more about the event! Please see the Registration Form in the latest 4-H newsletter for more details.

The final deadline to register with the Extension Office is Friday July 10th; however, please notice the price breakdowns for registration, which are as follows:

FULL TIME (Attending all 3 days):
General - $135.00 per person (register May 30 through July 1) - Your cost 100.00
Late - $175.00 per person (register July 2 through July 10) - Your cost $140.00

PART TIME (Attending day of competition only):
General - $85.00 per person (register May 16 through July 1) - Your cost $60.00
Late - $100.00 per person (register July 2 through July 10) - Your cost $75.00

All full-time participants (attending all three days) will get a $35.00 scholarship from the Clearfield County 4-H Development Committee and all part-time participants (attending for your competition day only) will receive a $25.00 scholarship from the Clearfield County 4-H Development Committee.
